During this year’s Graph Expo in Chicago, Baumann had an automatic jogging system BASA on display. In spite of the weak dollar and despite the continuing difficult economic situation in the US, the automatic jogging system found unanimous approval with the many visitors. Numerous new contacts have been established.
"Our customers have realized that the automation of the jogging process (which is still the heaviest part of the operator’s work) is much more promising than a possible further automation of the cutting process", says Baumann sales manager Sven Schubert, showing himself completely satisfied with the success of this year’s Graph Expo. Above all the budget-priced „starter system" in combination with a frontfeeding system, met with great interest.
During the whole show, the automatic jogging system BASA was running permanently with a constant high speed and turned out to be a real "crowd puller" on the stand of Baumann’s US-representation Absolute Printing Equipment Service Inc.
