Pertti Rajamäki has been appointed Managing Director of Vacon Suzhou Drives and begins in his new position as of 1 September 2010. Currently, and also after his appointment, Rajamäki acts as Regional General Manager of Vacon’s sales in the Asia-Pacific region. The current Managing Director of Vacon China, Timo Harri, returns to the parent company in Finland as planned in the autumn of 2010.
"During the past few years, Vacon’s sales and marketing organization in Asia-Pacific has significantly increased Vacon's revenues in the region. We live exciting times in China, and I look forward to continuing the work my predecessors have started. Especially, opening the new factory in Suzhou is one of the most important tasks in near future," says Pertti Rajamäki.
Vacon has a factory in Suzhou and sales offices e.g. in Shanghai and Beijing. Vacon’s China operations employ 235 people.
