Södra is hit by a strike that recently broke out. Because of the strike the company was forced had to stop the pulp mill Södra Cell Värö. The strike has hit a number of different mills in Swedish forest industry sector and Södra Cell Värö is one of those.
Södra Procurement has informed all Södra’s suppliers about the situation and the company is going to have a dialogue with every singular customer on how to deal with this situation. For now it’s impossible to know the direct effects caused by the strike.
