It will soon be time for the "Ziegler’s best award" to being presented for yet another year. The competition for this acclaimed design prize which is now in its seventh successful year is already running and the deadline for submissions is 31 May 2010. Eligible for entry are all paper products printed entirely or partially on specialty papers made by Ziegler Paper Mill between 1 July 2009 and 31 May 2010.
The high reputation of this international design prize is once again attracting top calibre competitors from different nations. In previous years, the creative papers from Ziegler Paper Mill have demonstrated time and again their superior properties in high-end conversion applications. The company is offering its "Ziegler’s best art & print work 2010 award because it is firmly convinced that only through the combination of excellent design and production (art + print) can a truly outstanding print product be created. Agencies, graphic artists and printers, together with principals and paper merchants are all eligible to compete for this coveted award. The works submitted will again be assessed by a jury of specialists from the realms of print, design and the media. These experts will be basing their evaluation both on technical and artistic criteria. The winners will be presented with their awards and certificates at an exclusive prize-giving ceremony in Basel this September.
