At the very beginning of the year 2010, LANA Papier Spéciaux is launching Distinction® Bamboo, the first graphical paper based on Bamboo fibres. The new ecological product is going to be presented at Paperworld 2010 in Frankfurt/Germany in cooperation with Hahnemühle FineArts.
Bamboo is a strong perennial plant, growing easily on any type of soil, even the poorest ones, and it is consuming up to 30% more CO² than a broadleaf. Its cultivation requires neither fertiliser, nor pesticide, thus contributing to the balance of the ecosystem.
In preserving natural resources and offering a unique delicate surface, by this means Distinction® Bamboo is a worthy part of the whole Distinction® range, which is characterised by combining high quality, excellent touching and environmental respect.
