CITO recently sent application engineer Roman Kaschitz on a visit tour to Cape Town, South Africa. Together with their South African representative, Printech Engineering, many packaging factories were visited.
The aim was to give assistance around the complete packaging production and to support customers with various problem solutions. Of course the importance of the correct selection of the creasing parameters and their impact on the subsequent quality of the creasing could be pointed out.
After the end of the customer visits all companies were invited to a die-cutting seminar. During and beyond the die-cutting seminar many inspiring discussions around problems and challenges in the packaging industry were held.
The active participation has encouraged CITO to plan another customer visit tour and further seminars in South Africa through 2010.
