Canadian cardboard packaging maker to invest $113M

Canadian cardboard packaging producer Car-tons St-Laurent Inc is planning to invest in upgrading and expanding the production capacities of its plant in La Tuque, a municipality lo-cated in the country’s eastern Quebec province.

 

Under the plan, the project is to be worth some CAD$150 million (US$113 million), according to the information obtained by local newspaper L’Écho de La Tuque.

 

The cardboard producer is headquartered in the province’s capital Montreal. Until 1994, when the company was re-branded, Cartons St-Laurent Inc operated under the name of Produits forestiers Canadien pacifique (PFCP).
