Cartiera Pieretti’s containerboard mill halts production

Cartiera Pieretti's containerboard mill in Italy has suspended operation, Euwid reports. The 40,000 tpy mill is now threatened by closure.

According to Euwid, the site's machine had been standing still since 25 November, and it is not yet clear if the company will continue operating or if it will go bankrupt.

Cartiera Pieretti runs one machine, which has a capacity of around 40,000 tpy. Its products include white-top testliner and coreboard.
