India’s JK Paper Ltd has unveiled plans to in-crease its output capacity from some 450,000 tonnes per year to as much as 800,000 tonnes per year. The project will consist of a major upgrade at the producer’s subsidiary Sirpur Paper Mills, according to senior company representatives.
AS Mehta, the president and director of JK Paper, told local daily The Hindu Business Line that the company is “in the process of increasing the manufacturing capacity … through internal expansion … which will come through the addition of the Sirpur Paper Mills Limited ca-pacity.”
JK Paper took over Sirpur Paper Mills in August 2018
