U.S. paper and cardboard producer Graphic Packaging International has unveiled plans to open a new plant in Kalamazoo, in the U.S. state of Michigan, with a capacity to make about 500,000 tonnes of recycled paperboard annually.
With its investment plans in mind, Graphic Packaging International was recently approved to obtain a tax break from the Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority, according to the information ob-tained by local news site Mlive.com.
Under the plan, the designed factory is to be located in close proximity to the company’s existing facility.
