Lecta has secured OHSAS 18001 Certification for its mills at Les Fonts and Leitza in Spain, and Condat, France.
The OHSAS 18001 Certification is the most widely recognized occupational health and safety management standard worldwide. “Lecta has fulfilled the commitment set forth in its most recent Environmental Report to certify all its manufacturing sites by the end of 2014. By doing so, the company has demonstrated its commitment to ensuring the safety of its employees and reaffirmed its engagement in improving quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards,” the company said in a statement.
Lecta is a European manufacturer and distributor of specialty paper for labels and flexible packaging, coated paper for publishing and commercial printing, and other high value-added print media.
The company’s manufacturing sites are certified to the strictest environmental standards, ISO 14001 and EMAS, and hold PEFC and FSC chain of custody certificates, thereby guaranteeing sustainably sourced wood and pulp raw materials.
