Czech government to divest Slovenia's newsprint manufacturer Vipap Videm

According to Euwid, the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic will divest its stake in Slovenia's paper manufacturer Vipap Videm. The ministry is now working to prepare the terms and conditions of the transaction.

Vipap is located in Krsko, eastern Slovenia.

Vipap’s annual output capacity is 240,000 tonnes; i.e. 180,000 tonnes of recycled fibres, made from recovered paper, and 60,000 tonnes of groundwood pulp. The three paper machines make more than 200,000 tonnes of papers a year.

Czech ministry of finance holds a 96.5% stake in Vipap.
