Ukraine’s Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill increased production by 17.8% this year

Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, one of Ukraine’s largest pulp and paper mills, increased production up to UAH 2.51 billion (US$156 million) in value terms in 2014. This is by 17.8% more than in 2013, according to the company.

The production of corrugated packaging at the plant during the reporting period decreased by 3.8% to 203.48 million m2, while containerboard - increased by 0.3% to 114,950 tonnes.

At present the company employs more than 2,200 workers. The company's share in the total output of pulp and paper products in Ukraine is 30%. Products are sold by about 700 companies of Ukraine, a number of CIS countries and abroad. Austrian Pulp Mill Holding currently remains the owner of the plant.
