Nippon Paper Papylia of Nippon Paper Group has announced price revisions to thin printing paper and other types of paper. Details are as follows.
Prices for thin printing paper, back carbon copying paper, processing base paper will increase by at least 10 per cent. The price adjustment will take place on February 21, 2015.
Nippon Paper says that despite its ongoing efforts to cut costs, it finds it difficult to deal, by itself, with the increase in the cost of raw materials, attributable mainly to the sharp depreciation of the Japanese yen. The Company has therefore decided to increase the prices of products so that it can sustain production.
