Kadant receives orders for recycling and chemical pulping equipments

Kadant has received orders worth USD 11 million to supply recycling and chemical pulping equipments to three pulp and paper producers in the US and Mexico.

“The favourable investment environment for chemical pulp and recycling projects in North America has resulted in these projects being converted to orders,” said Jonathan Painter, President and CEO, Kadant.

The chemical pulping equipment will be used to recover chemicals in the kraft pulping process and the stock-preparation recycling systems will be used to process recycled fibre for use in paper production.

Painter added, “We were pleased to have been recognized for our equipment reliability and energy efficient offerings as our customers continue to seek solutions to improve energy utilization, reduce water consumption, and increase fibre yield.”
