Turkish paper producer Parteks has started up its new Toscotec-supplied tissue line installed in Kayseri in Anatolia, Turkey.

The machine recently came on stream after the commissioning period and is now producing high quality tissue products. The tissue paper is produced with recycled paper and virgin pulp. Panda and Senta are well-known tissue paper brands produced by Parteks.

The new machine has a width of 2.85 meters and a design speed of 1600 mpm. The new production line produces 75 tons per day of high-quality facial, toilet and towel grades.

Toscotec said that the machine project focused on reduced energy consumption and usage of raw materials, recovery and reuse of process water, low emissions (noise and pollutants), as well as green energy adoption with the application of a steel Yankee dryer.

Founded in 1996, Parteks Paper Company is a fully integrated manufacturer of tissue paper for household and community, corrugated cardboard and fluting paper. The company's existing paper mill also houses tissue machine 1 (started up in 2007), a fluting machine (PM1) and a corrugating line. Converting facility for tissue is close by the plant. The company employs around 300 people.
