According to EUWID, UPM and Aviretta have reached an agreement on the sale of a production facility at the Ettringen site.
Details on the transaction have not been disclosed.
The sale means that the rebuild of PM 4 could start soon. The PM 4 used to produce 170,000 tpy of SC paper until its shutdown at the end of April 2013.
Aviretta is new player in the packaging market.
