Horizon Pulp & Paper has appointed Bashyam Krishnan as its new Chairman and CEO. Krishnan has held several senior management and development positions with Aditya Birla Group in Thailand and Egypt and has over 29 years of experience in manufacturing, projects and general management in the “Chemical and Fibre” industry. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering.
Horizon Pulp & Paper, a subsidiary of Singapore-based Tolaram, is Estonia's only sack kraft paper producer. The company has the capacity to produce a total of 64,000 tonnes per year of kraft paper, including semi and fully extensible sack kraft, wrapping kraft and some speciality grades, on 3 paper machines. The company exports 100% of its production.
