Atlas Paper Mills has appointed Jim Brown as its new CEO. He succeeds Joe Tadeo, who has left the company.
Brown joins Atlas with more than 25 years of experience in paper packaging and related sectors, most recently serving as an executive vice president at Duro Bag Manufacturing Co., a paper bag company that produces more than 20 billion bags per year from nine locations in North America. Prior to joining Duro Bag, Brown spent 26 years in various executive positions with Sonoco Products Co., including serving as vice president of Sonoco Recycling.
“We are delighted to have someone of Jim Brown's caliber join Atlas as CEO,” says Peter Leibman, a member of Atlas’ board of directors. “Jim has an impressive track record of building strong customer relationships, enhancing operations and delivering exceptional results. His background and experience are well suited for leading Atlas, as the company continues to execute on its business plan, featuring both organic growth and strategic add-on acquisitions."
