Mexican paper and packaging company Grupo Gondi has made the decision to purchase an L&W Autoline 400 system from Lorentzen & Wettre for its mill Empaques Modernos Guadalajara, through Lorentzen & Wettres representative, IVF y Asociados, SA de CV.
Empaques Modernos Guadalajara is a paper mill producing recycled liners and coated papers with weight from 100 to 600 g/m2, and has a modern plant for corrugated boxes.
As Grupo Gondi relies on certified processes and international standards the choice fell on Lorentzen & Wettre when they had a need for improved quality testing, and faster feedback on final quality to their production department.
L&W Autoline 400 is the fourth generation of automated paper testing systems from Lorentzen & Wettre. The system quickly measures the paper properties, identifies problem areas and therefore allows papermakers to optimize the process and thereby improving the paper quality.
"This is a significant order since it will be the first L&W Autoline 400 (automated paper testing system) installation ever in Mexico.
