Grupo Gondi to build new box plant in Mexico

Grupo Gondi recently announced plans to construct a new box conversion plant in Nava (Piedras Negras), Coahuila, Mexico.

According to the company, the new plant will supply the current and future packaging needs of manufacturers in the Coahuila, Mexico area, including the CCC Brewery, as well as the southern markets in the USA.

Grupo Gondi said that it has a long-term contract to supply beer packaging to the CCC Brewery and is supporting said contract with this investment.

The plant will be built in two phases. Capacity will reach 9,000 metric tons of packaging cartons per month.

Grupo Gondi is composed of ten companies with over 5,000 employees.
