The Thai paper producer Double A announces that it has produced its first roll of paper at its Alizay mill, France, four months after it acquired the mill.
"The Alizay mill will be the foundation for our expansion in Europe", said Thirawit Leetavorn, Double A's Senior Executive Vice President, adding that the company would be focusing on the production of Double A’s brands Double A, Smart Copy, Hi-Plus and Smartist.
"This program certifies the sustainability of the source of paper fibre, and also ensures that the quality of the paper produced on our site is the same as that recognized by customers of Double A in more than 120 countries around the world, "says Leetavorn.
The Alizay mill has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of uncoated woodfree paper.
