Russian CJSC Investlesprom and Segezha Packaging Group recently announced that they have completed the purchase of the 20 per cent minority shareholding in Italian Sacchificio Tordera S.p.a. The Segezha Management Group now controls 100 per cent of the business.
The business will continue to trade as Sacchificio Tordera.
Commenting on the purchase completion, Andrey Prokopov, CEO of Segezha Packaging Group says “The purchase of the remaining shares in Sacchificio Tordera is a vital and strategic development for our group. We can now push forward on the future development of the important Italian sack market”. Stanislav Krivopusko, Deputy head of Legal affairs at CJSC Investlesprom states “We all want to thank Michele Graglia and Laura Bramati for their support and participation until today and wish all of us to continue in this long story of production and tradition in the Varese plant ”.
