Big can also be small

Durrer has expanded its product range in the field of embossing when it launched the first, fully automatic P-Flex embossing machine at Drupa 2012. In-depth discussions with customers at the exhibition caused Durrer to develop a second basic version - P-Flex M. This version of the machine will be sold with a manual input and output and is considerably cheaper than the fully automatic version.

Apart from input and output the machines are identical and leave nothing to be desired:

• Blind and hot foil embossing

• One or more embossing stations

• Fully automated die exchange

• Processing of covers and cased-in products

• Servo-drive embossing process.

The result is consistently perfect, quality embossing, minimal retooling times and high performance. An adapter means existing customer dies can be used.

Since Drupa Durrer has sold three machines of this type. Two have already been delivered and are in use in Germany and Belgium.

Both machines process bound books (glued, Wire-O), closed products, covers, calendar headboards and Wire-O.
