The latest edition of What’s Next, Sappi’s high-quality magazine that aims to showcase the power of paper, might surprise you. But that’s to be expected, because it’s the unexpectedthat’s the theme of this magazine.

With new content, new design and a new websiteproviding additional content, What’s Next is all about showing your customers new ways to attract new readers, through attractive visuals and inspiring articles. It’s also about setting out new concepts that will inspire and captivate current and potential customers.

As Eric Van den Bruel, Marketing & Product Development Director at Sappi Fine Paper Europe, explained, What’s Next is all about adding value for companies and their customers: “Our mission is to explore the sustainable power and scope of print today and in the future, and share our insights with our industry partners on how to make the most of it. We’re passionate about print, and in sharing our expertise, experience and enthusiasm, we want to show customers how integral paper is to the quality of the magazine experience.”

What’s Next is first and foremost a tool for Sappi and its customers. With several grades and types of paper used in every issue, Sappi combines sight and touch to bring the articles alive and provide new ideas and tips for printers. Autumn’s issue features products including Sappi_Magno™, Sappi_Quatro™, Sappi_Galerie Art™ and Sappi_Tempo™ in grades from 100 to 300g/m2.

The diverse content featured in What’s Next reflects Sappi’s passion for print. By focusing on how innovation in paper and publishing can help push the boundaries of creativity, Sappi aims to show that paper is more relevant than ever, providing engaging and sensory functionalities that set it apart from the online world. New to this and future editions will be the inclusion of articles in languages other than English, reaching multiple audiences via a single publication.

Finally, Sappi knows that even the most passionate advocates of print also consume online content. This is why we have launched a new website for What’s Next that will provide constantly evolving content including interviews with personalities from Sappi and beyond, and regular blog posts by industry professionals, as well as information on the papers used in the latest issue. On the site, you can also register for Impressions, our company newsletter, where you can learn more about the exciting things going on behind the scenes at Sappi.
