DS Smith will build a new factory in Bełchatów, in Poland’s central part, under an investment estimated to be worth about PLN 250 million (€60 million).

Under the plan, the plant will make corrugated cardboard packaging. As part of its project, the company is aiming to create some 200 new jobs in Bełchatów, state-run Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAiH) said in a statement.

The factory will be fitted with a total surface of some 3,500 square metres. Production activities are to be launched in the second half of 2020.
