Around 150 companies are presenting their diverse range of products and services at the ZELLCHEMING-Expo at the moment. These include numerous significant key players such as AS Drives & Services GmbH, Omya International AG, Siemens AG Process Industries and Drives, Valmet GmbH and Voith Paper GmbH & Co. KG. Zellcheming – Expo is taking place I Frankfurt am Main from 26 – 28 June 2018, the Expo is the meeting point for the European pulp, paper, and supply industry in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Several of the companies have been exhibiting for many years, as confirmed by Thomas Villforth, Villforth Siebtechnik GmbH: “The ZELLCHEMING-Expo has been a highlight in the paper industry for me ever since my studies. We have been an exhibitor since 2005. The most important aspect for me here is the intense networking amongst paper manufacturers, which the Expo facilitates.”
For companies exhibiting at the ZELLCHEMING-Expo for the first time or for those who have not taken part for over three years, the Newcomer Pavilion Joint Stand offers cost-efficient participation. First-time exhibitors can efficiently present their company to a broad target group without much organizational effort. Stand spaces at the Newcomer Pavilion are restricted to ten slots.
Practical transfer of knowledge
The Expo Forum offers exhibiting companies the opportunity to present their best-practice references to a broad trade audience. As from February registrations can be made to hold a 20-minute talk here, enabling companies to strengthen their trade fair presence beyond their stand space. The Expo Forum is free of charge for visitors. The main topics this year include:

- Best-Practice talks “Learning from the best“
A workshop in German carrying the title “Technologies of TODAY for the products of TOMORROW” will be held by the Papiertechnischen Stiftung (foundation for paper technology) for young professionals on 28.06.2018. The aim of the event is for inspirable young professionals competing with each other, to find creative ideas on urgent issues in paper manufacturing.
A stronger focus on career offerings
Under the direction of the ZELLCHEMING Association (Verein ZELLCHEMING), the careers program has been expanded this year. For the first time, there will be a Mentoring Program for Students and Young Professionals at the ZELLCHEMING-Expo. A Science Slam will also be hosted to allow young scientists the opportunity to present their research projects on stage.
Education and research institutes will be able to book their space at the new ZELLCHEMING joint stand, ”Treffpunkt Zukunft” (Meeting point of the future) shortly. Visitors can receive an overview of careers and further training options here.
