Production on the rise Last year, Ukraine-based paper and card-board producers managed to increase their annual output by 6.7% to a total of 156,000 tonnes of various products.
Based on data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine (Ukrstat) obtained by local news site Lesprom.ru, in 2017, Ukraine’s sanitary paper producers posted a 4.3% increase year-on-year to some 140,000 tonnes.
On a related note, the country’s tissue paper output totalled about 104,000 tonnes last year which represented an increase of 1.7% compared with a year earlier, according to figures released by the Ukrstat
