Cartiere del Polesine in Italy confirmed it has started the planning to install a new machine with a capacity of 300,000 tpy, according to Euwid.
However, it can take up to two years to receive all approvals for the project, according to the company. This means it might take three to four years until the new machine is ready for start-up.
According to Cartiere del Polesine, the new machine will have a width of 5.6 m and be able to make light-weight corrugated case material in grammages between 70 and 90 g/m² with a capacity of 300,000 tpy.
