Romanian paper packaging plant expands sales

Romania-based paper packaging producer Segezha Packaging Srl managed to expand its sales for 2016 to some RON 49.5 million (€10.9 million), an increase of more than 7.6% compared with a year earlier.

The company operates a production facility in Ploieşti, in Romania’s southern region, and is part of Russia’s InvestLesProm Group. Last year, Segezha Packaging exported about RON 10 million (€2.2 mil-lion) worth of output, according to data obtained by local business daily Ziarul Financiar.

In addition to Romania, the manufacturer also operates facilities in Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Denmark, the Czech Re-public and Turkey.
