Södra announced that it will increase its market price for NBSK (Northern Bleached Softwood Kraft) in Europe to US$840 per tonne, for all new business.
“Current market conditions are very favorable and demand is solid. We closed January business with prices on the rise amid consensus from our customers,” said Magnus Björkman, VP Sales and Marketing, Södra Cell.
“Also recent global statistics and market conditions support this momentum," he added.
Södra, with headquarters in Vaxjo, Sweden, produces market pulp, wood products and biofuels.
