Since 1 January, Erich Armatur's valve operations are part of Askalon.
"With this acquisition and our cooperation with Emerson, Askalon can help our customers operate and maintain their facilities more safely and efficiently," said CEO Mats Warnqvist in a press release.
The decision made by Askalon to acquire the valve operations from Erichs Armatur, now Auma Scandinavia AB, was first disclosed in December, 2018. The acquisition includes the sales organization, the valve service in Västervik and a warehouse in Malmö with around 2,000 valves and actuators. 18 employees with extensive experience have left Erichs Armatur for Askalon.
With this purchase, Askalon has strengthened its sales organization and now has the exclusive right to market Emerson's former Pentair valve products such as Keystone, Sempell, Neotecha, Vanessa and Clarkson.
The combination of Askalon's existing service organization and Erich's valve service enables Askalon to become one of the largest service companies with up to a hundred maintenance service technicians for safety, control and shutdown valves. With its extensive and qualified technical expertise, Askalon can handle most types of valves.
