Longview paper mill to stop making newsprint

The Washington state based paper mill, Longview, will stop making the product at the end of the month, according to media reports. 

North Pacific Paper Co. in Longview, or Norpac, is phasing out its newsprint production effective May 1, according to Recycling Today.

According to Recycling Today, Norpac’s move follows plummeting supplies and falling demand for newsprint.

Longview is a city in Cowlitz County, Washington, United States. It is the principal city of the Longview, Washington. The abundance of timber around Longview provides the city's former two largest employers, with timber products.
