Bellmer GmbH, a leading international supplier of paper and board machinery, announces that it has successfully acquired Cellwood Machinery AB, which now works under the name Bellmer Cellwood. In addition, Cellwood is a well-known Swedish company that makes systems for wastepaper recycling and bioenergy pre-treatment. For example, they provide solutions that help paper mills recycle more efficiently.
After signing the agreement in mid-September 2025 and completing all required steps, Bellmer officially closed the deal at the end of October 2025. As a result, both companies can now work together more closely.
Strategic Importance of the Acquisition
“This is an important step for both companies,” said Martin Kollmar, President of Bellmer GmbH. “Moreover, we are proud to welcome Cellwood, now Bellmer Cellwood, into the Bellmer Group. Also, their expertise in dispersing systems and eco-friendly recycling technology will make our global position stronger. In addition, it will improve the value we deliver to our customers.”
Bellmer Cellwood Becomes Part of the Bellmer Group
Bellmer Cellwood, with subsidiaries in Germany, Canada, and China, as well as sales and service teams in Vietnam and India, now works as part of the Bellmer Group. Meanwhile, the integration process is already happening. Also, the focus is on continuity, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Henrik Lefvert, Managing Director of Bellmer Cellwood, said: “We are excited to start this new chapter as part of the Bellmer family. Together, we will keep driving innovation and provide high-quality solutions to the global pulp, paper, and bioenergy industry. For example, we will make systems that are more efficient and more sustainable for our customers.”
