Kemira, a global leader in sustainable chemical solutions for water-intensive industries, has successfully completed the acquisition of Water Engineering, Inc., a privately-owned company headquartered in Nebraska, USA.
Water Engineering, Inc. specializes in industrial water treatment services, offering tailored solutions to customers across food & beverage, manufacturing, healthcare, and other sectors. The acquisition strengthens Kemira’s strategic position in the North American market and expands its capabilities in water treatment services.
The transaction was announced on August 30, 2025, and has now been completed following customary closing conditions.

Kemira will integrate Water Engineering, Inc.’s operations into its Water Solutions business unit. The acquired business will continue to operate from its existing locations, ensuring continuity for customers and employees.
