Built for performance and sustainability, the new trays combine renewable moulded wood fibre with barrier film to offer shelf life protection and recyclability. Industrial testing with selected customers is now underway, targeting applications such as meat, poultry, fish and ready meal packaging.

Muoto Laminated Fibre products are engineered with enhanced barrier properties and sealability, combining robust moulded fibre trays with carefully selected films. The laminated products are suitable for MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging) and VSP (Vacuum Skin Packaging). The flange area of the laminated products used for sealing is continuous and rigid, ensuring reliable and secure seal without risk of leakage. T
