Trump signs new EO concerning wood pulp imports

President Trump has signed an Executive Order (EO) making changes to EO 14257 from April. According toThe American Forest and Paper Association (AF&PA), the new EO outlines what products and materials can enter the U.S. duty-free. Three wood pulp tariff codes were added to the list.

According the new EO, imported wood pulp will come into the U.S. duty-free. The list now includes products that are not produced in the US or not manufactured at scale, for example bleached eucalyptus kraft or BEK.
