Paptic Ltd has appointed Jarkko Tuominen as Chief Executive Officer. Tuomas Mustonen will continue as CEO until the commencement of the new CEO’s tenure, which is expected to start by the end of the year.
Jarkko Tuominen joins Paptic from Metsä Group, where he has held several key positions. In recent years, he has led scale-up and commercialisation of the next-generation molded pulp project. Before that, Jarkko spearheaded the market entry of food service boards and barrier boards at Metsä Board. Earlier in his career, he held senior business responsibilities at companies including Walki and Pöyry Management Consulting (now AFRY). Altogether, Jarkko brings more than three decades of experience in the packaging industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Paper Technology from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University).
