Klabin, a leader in the corrugated cardboard packaging, industrial bags and paperboard markets, will be present at the 9th edition of the Brazilian Cement Congress and ExpoCimento, held at the WTC Golden Hall, in São Paulo, until July 2. Considered one of the largest in the industry, this year the event brings together experts and authorities to discuss topics such as energy transition, decarbonization and technological innovation.
Among the products presented by Klabin, Ekomix® stands out, a cement packaging made from 100% dispersible paper, which can be integrated into the concrete preparation process, maintaining the quality of the product and eliminating waste on the construction site. The solution was recognized for its quality, innovation and functionality in awards such as the ABRE Award and the WorldStar Global Packaging Awards, one of the largest global packaging awards.
Another sustainable solution on display is Ekolayer®, which has a sustainable barrier and does not require the use of plastic film in its composition. The technology used is highly efficient, as it prevents moisture from entering and extends the shelf life of the packaged product, preserving its original characteristics.
These solutions were developed by the research team at the Klabin Technology Center (CTK), in partnership with the company's commercial and engineering departments. They reflect Klabin's commitment to sustainability, offering customers from a wide range of segments a wide range of customized solutions for specific needs. Furthermore, all of the Company's packaging is renewable, produced from certified planted forests, and recyclable.
