It is not only the Zellcheming Association celebrating its 120th anniversary and the Zellcheming-Expo its 75th anniversary this year, the Leipzig-based company emtec Electronic GmbH can also look back on 30 years of experience and is celebrating its anniversary together with customers, partners and friends at stand 166 at the Zellcheming-Expo.
This year´s anniversary event refers to the motto “Shaping the future together. People – Technology – Innovations” and unites the pulp, paper and supplier industry in Wiesbaden from July 1 to 3. emtec Electronic will be onsite to present its innovative measurement technology and to discuss new applications and ideas.
In addition to the two yellow lab devices for determining the particle charge and zeta potential in the wet end of paper production, which are particularly appreciated by chemical suppliers, emtec will also exhibit the FPO Fiber Potential Analyzer Online at their booth. This online measuring device automatically determines the zeta potential of fibers in the suspension by independently taking pulp samples from the paper machine via two alternating connections, measuring them and cleaning the measuring cell before the emtec FPO takes the next sample. The values for zeta potential, pH value, conductivity and temperature are automatically forwarded to the process control system and, if required, to a data cloud for worldwide remote access.
For assessing haptic properties of tissue products emtec Electronic presents its TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer in a new design. Equipped with a touchscreen, the device is even easier to handle, and the additional options for tracking optical and thermo-haptic properties complete the further development of the emtec TSA.
The application of the ACA Ash Content Analyzer is as versatile as it is pioneering. The innovative measuring device determines the content of mineral fillers in paper and board non-destructively within two minutes. The user gets information on the individual mineral fillers as a percentage, as well as the total filler content in the sample.
In addition to its own product portfolio, emtec Electronic is also exhibiting the WEPS Wet End Process Simulator. This product from Korean partner company Sam Bo Scientific provides information on the retention and drainage behavior of a pulp sample under vacuum conditions with simultaneous sheet formation for further lab tests.
This year, Giselher Gruener (General Manager), Sandra Vogt (Global Marketing Manager), Stephanie Patzschke (Sales & Marketing Coordinator), Ulli Kasten (Global Sales Manager) and of course Stefan Ruebesam (Sales Area Manager) will be on site to welcome all interested visitors to the Zellcheming-Expo in Hall North at stand 166, answer questions and raise a glass to the company´s anniversary.
