German corrugated cardboard maker to invest €75M in Poland

Germany’s Progroup has unveiled plans to build a new corrugated cardboard plant in Stryków, in central Poland.

 

Under the plan, the new factory will increase the company’s produc-tion capacities in the Polish market to some 520,000 tonnes per year. The investment is estimated to be worth some €75 million, according to the information obtained by local news site Rynekpapierniczy.pl.

 

Progroup already operates a factory in Trzcinica, Poland. The plant in Stryków is to be fitted with a total surface of some 27,900 square metres, providing more than 50 jobs.
