Vlet Holdings, a subsidiary of Polish invest-ment fund Abris Capital, has completed the takeover of local tissue paper maker Velvet Care from investment fund Avallon.
"Abris Capital Partners has experience in the field of paper hygiene products in this region, as [i tis] the owner of Pehart Tec, a leading manufacturer of tissue paper and hygiene products in the Romanian market. Having two significant players ... in Central and Eastern Eu-rope in its portfolio, Abris Capital Partners will be the owner of pro-ducers [with a total capacity of] more than 220,000 tonnes of tissue paper per year," the fund said in a statement.
