Cartiere del Polesine, an Italian manufacturer of recycled corrugated case material (CCM), will take downtime of up to almost four weeks at its machines for rebuilding measures. The company intends to increase its containerboard capacities by 30,000 tpy.

The company will shut down PM 1 and PM 2 at the Loreo mill, located near Venice, for 25 days. They have a daily capacity of 120 and 160 t of fluting and corrugating medium respectively.  Two other PMs will, located at company’s Adria mill, will also be affected by the measures.

The output will increase from currently 270,000 tpy to 300,000 tpy of recycled corrugated case material. The rebuilds will also serve to improve output quality.
