Final report from Zellcheming Expo 2016

After three intensive exhibition days, Zellcheming-Expo 2016 closes again with a visitor plus 3.7 percent. In total 1,901 trade visitors informed themselves about products, trends and developments of the industry from 155 exhibitors. Visitors and exhibitors use the exhibition as a living information and communication platform that decisively shaped the atmosphere in the exhibition halls.

The congress entitled “Raw materials & fibers - the extended value creation” organized by the association Zellcheming e.V., was held in parallel to the exhibition and recorded with 367 participants a great result as well. Renowned speakers offered exclusive insights into current developments in the field of raw materials and fibers. “The new established “Application Forum” was focusing on waste paper and has been an additional highlight this year. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to inform themselves comprehensively about the future of the raw material waste paper and alternative fiber resources for special papers.”

Especially the evening events were a powerful magnet to establish new contacts: On the first exhibition day, the “After Fair“ appealed very well to the participants and in addition to that the “Summer Evening” of the association Zellcheming e.V. offered excellent networking possibilities on the second day.

The next Zellcheming-Expo with congress held in parallel to it and the 112th Annual General Meeting will take place at the Frankfurt exhibition centre, Germany, from 4 – 6 July 2017.
