Buckman announces new global supply chain leadership

Buckman, global manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced the promotion of Brad Walden as Vice President, Global Supply Chain. He will have the primary responsibility of establishing the policies and strategies for the company’s global supply chain.

“Brad has been a key part of our ability to leverage efficiencies in purchasing, inventory planning and distribution while carefully selecting the best suppliers locally and globally and fostering strong supplier relationships,” said Steve Buckman, CEO of Buckman.

Mr. Walden joined Buckman nearly 19 years ago and served in a variety of capacities that supported the procurement and supply chain operation for the US division of Buckman as well as direct global strategic sourcing for the international operating company which supports the company at a global level.

Mr. Walden received a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from the University of Kentucky. He also received a Master of Science from Murray State University.

Buckman is a privately held, global specialty chemical company with headquarters in Memphis, Tenn., USA.
