Ox Industries has successfully restarted the White Pigeon Paper Mill after it is was closed for almost three months.  Ox acquired the mill from Graphic Packaging in June and has since converted the mill from clay-coated recycled paperboard (CRB) to high strength uncoated recycled paperboard (URB).

“This is a significant opportunity for OX and the local community.  Our team members have worked extremely hard to bring this facility back to life with a new purpose that ensures environmental stewardship and a solid platform for growth. The unique characteristics of this paper machine give us opportunities to expand our vertically integrated platform of producing green 100% recycled paper products,” said Ox Industries CEO Kevin Hayward.

The White Pigeon Mill will add 80,000 tons of URB capacity to Ox’s current mill system.  Additional upgrades are being planned to increase the output and overall facility of the White Pigeon Mill over the next two years.

Headquartered in Hanover, PA, Ox Industries is a leader in 100% recycled paperboard, specialty papers, paper tubes and cores, and green protective packaging products.  Ox operates four recycled paper mills and five vertically integrated converted products facilities in eight states.
