Ukraine’s Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill has re-ported improved financial results for the first three quarters of this year, with the company’s sales expanding by 1.8% to some UAH 4.139 billion (US$166.3 million).

The manufacturer was able to increase its revenues despite its lower volume of produced cardboard in the January-September 2019 pe-riod, according to data obtained by local news site Open4busi-ness.com.ua. In the first nine months of this year, Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill made some 172.64 million square metres of various card-board products. This represented a decrease of 1.7% compared with the same period a year earlier.

The producer says it is part of the Austrian Pulp Mill Holding, and its output represents about 30% of Ukraine’s pulp and paper production.
