WEPA International recently announced the acquisition of 100 percent shares of Lucart France in a bid to strengthen position in the French market.
“The motivations for the acquisition are linked to the strategic goal to further strengthen WEPA´s market position in the Consumer private label sector on the French market and to increase our paper production and converting capacity," said, Martin Krengel, CEO, WEPA Group.
Lucart Group, based in Italy, manufactures tissue and MG paper. The sale of Lucart France is part of a strategic project finalized to refocusing Lucart Group activities on its core business, revealed Massimo Pasquini, CEO, Lucart.
The company will continue its activity in the French market through its other French company, Novatissue.
