According to Euwid Pulp & Paper, Moscow-based corrugated board and packaging manufacturer Paper Modern Packaging (PM Packaging) will open a new corrugated packaging plant in spring 2014.
The plant is located in Chelyabinsk in Russia’s Ulyanovsk region.
Once full production has been reached, Chelyabinsk facility will produce 180 million m² per year of two-, three, and five-layer corrugated board packaging and provide jobs for 200 people.
The $40m investment is expected to create 180 jobs.
