Andritz has received an order to supply the stock preparation system to Siam Kraft Industry Co., Ltd. (SCG Paper) for its new PM 16 corrugated board plant located in Ratchaburi, Thailand. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2014.
The scope of supply includes the complete stock preparation system with a drum pulping line for a capacity of 1,200 t/d based on 100% LOCC (Local Old Corrugated Container) and a state-of-the-art reject handling system. With this order, Andritz confirms its position as one of the leading suppliers of OCC and reject handling systems for the Asian market.
SCG Paper is one of the leading Asian packaging paper manufacturers. The total annual capacity, produced on 14 lines in Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, amounts to approximately 1.9 million t/a packaging paper that is certified by international environmental standards.
